Data deletion
This page explains how to request deletion of account-related information associated with LinkUp.
Requesting deletion
- Sign out of LinkUp on devices you no longer use.
- Use the developer/support contact listed in LinkUp's Google OAuth consent information or the public LinkUp Product Hunt listing.
- State that you are requesting deletion of your LinkUp account-related data and provide the email address associated with the LinkUp account so the request can be matched to the correct account.
Temporary meeting data: LinkUp's current waiting-room system is designed to expire meeting and join-request records automatically, generally within several hours. Short-lived meeting approval credentials expire more quickly.
Authentication provider data
If you used Google, Microsoft, GitHub, Yahoo, or another provider to sign in, you can also manage LinkUp's authorization from that provider's account/security settings. Removing provider authorization does not necessarily delete an authentication record already created in LinkUp, so use the deletion request process above if you want LinkUp account-related data removed.
What deletion may not cover
Infrastructure providers may retain security, fraud-prevention, backup, or legal-compliance records for the periods required by their own policies or applicable law.
