GOOGLE SIGN-IN & USER DATA
Why LinkUp asks for Google account information.
Google sign-in is optional. It is offered as a convenient way to authenticate a LinkUp account.
Basic Google profile data only
When you choose Continue with Google, LinkUp uses Firebase Authentication to receive the basic account information Google makes available for sign-in, such as your name, email address, profile picture, and account identifier.
LinkUp uses that information to sign you in, display your account identity, and associate account-only actions such as creating a meeting with the signed-in user.
LinkUp does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, Google Calendar, or the contents of other Google services. LinkUp does not use Google account data for advertising and does not sell Google user data.

You choose when meeting permissions are used.
Camera, microphone and screen sharing require your browser or operating-system permission. LinkUp uses those permissions only to provide the meeting features you choose to turn on.

Authentication
Account authentication is handled through Firebase Authentication and the sign-in provider you select.

Temporary waiting-room data
Meeting and waiting-room records are designed to expire automatically after a limited period instead of being permanent meeting history.

Real-time media
Audio, video and screen sharing are transmitted for the live meeting. LinkUp's current service does not intentionally store those media streams as meeting recordings.
